At MKFactory we only process the personal data we really need. Here we explain which data we collect on www.mkfactory.com and in our MKFactory Anonymizer application, what we use it for and how you can exercise your rights.

2. What data we process and why
Contact form
If you write to us through the contact form, we process your name, your email address and the content of your message in order to reply. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by sending the message.
Customer area
If you are a customer and sign in to your private area, we process your username, your sign-in credentials and the data needed to provide the service you have contracted. The legal basis is the performance of the contract.
Visit and download logs
Like any web server, we log the IP address, browser, page visited, referring page and date of each visit, including when you download MKFactory Anonymizer or when the application checks for a new version. We use this for the security of the site and for our own statistics, without building profiles or showing advertising. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and knowing how it is used.
3. MKFactory Anonymizer
MKFactory Anonymizer does not collect or send any personal data. The files you anonymize or restore and the key file stay on your computer: neither we nor anyone else has access to them.
Its only connection is a request to www.mkfactory.com to check for a new version and, if you ask for it, download it. That request contains no data about you or your files; our server only logs it like any other visit, as explained above. You can turn it off from the application's help.
4. Cookies
We only use technical cookies that the website needs to work: the session cookie, the one that remembers your language if you change it and, in the customer area, the sign-in cookie. We don't use advertising or third-party analytics cookies.
5. Third-party services
To display the website, fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and libraries from jsDelivr, cdnjs and unpkg; when this happens, your browser shares your IP address with them, as it does on almost any website. Our hosting provider processes data on our behalf as a data processor. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties, unless required by law.
6. How long we keep data
Contact messages: as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and, afterwards, for the periods required by law. Customer data: for as long as the relationship lasts and the legal periods that follow. Visit logs: 12 months, after which they are deleted automatically.
7. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to info@mkfactory.com. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version here with its update date.
